Some of the most beautiful stories begin with the simplest of moments.

Eight years ago, in the familiar corridors of secondary school, our paths first crossed. What began as a simple school-day encounter soon became something much more special — a little courage, a precious “yes,” and the beginning of a journey we could never have imagined.

Over the years, we grew together through school and college, followed our own dreams, and stepped into new chapters of life. There were times when distance kept us apart, and moments when being together wasn't easy. But through every challenge, we continued to choose each other and find our way back to one another.

When the time came to share our journey with our families, it wasn't without uncertainty. They needed time to understand our relationship, to know us better, and to see the love and commitment we shared. With patience, trust, and understanding, those initial doubts slowly turned into acceptance, warmth, and happiness.

On 1 September 2024, we celebrated our engagement and made our promise to each other official. Even after that beautiful day, our journey continued through long distance, teaching us that love is not simply about being together, but about staying connected, believing in each other, and choosing each other every single day.

Through all these years, we have shared countless memories, supported each other's dreams, grown together, and held on through every challenge. What began as a simple moment in school has grown into a love built on friendship, patience, trust, and an unwavering promise of a future together.

And now, after everything that brought us here, we are ready to begin the most beautiful chapter of our story.
